herefuture

herefuture is a participatory project by Aslı Dinç (multi-disciplinary artist, researcher) and Zeynep Okyay (curator, cultural manager), based on a fictitious exchange about the present and the future. It engages with the social context in a playful way and creates an environment for exchange about a world to come.

The project collects the visions of the future of people living together in the city today, through interviews, workshops, and surveys. The data collected as a result of the studies carried out in the selected neighborhoods create a database. The process is documented with the podcast, video, and mapping. Installation and lecture performance are created with the collectings.
